What is summer without a trip to the beach? For our beach trip, my friends and I hummed and hawed over a prime location for the optimal summer tan. Between Wasaga, Ward, Sandbanks and Woodbine, we chose sandbanks because everybody at my work said it was gorgeous, with rolling hills of sand and clear water that goes far far out.
So was it true?
Sort of. Not really..
Theres multiple beaches in that area, and this one we ended up at also had a lot of shells in the sand so it was prickly. The water isn't very deep, but the waves get bigger and bigger the farther out you go. However, if you walk along the water until you get past all the people, the sand and water is really beautiful. Unfortunately, we didn't find this until closer to the end of the day.
