How can you say no to a cute cabin like this?
I hustled my friends to come with me to Coaticook to check out Moment Factory's Foresta Lumina at Parc de la Gorge for a weekend. I managed to miscalculate (and convince everyone) the length of the drive by 4 hours, but didn't realise this until 5 hours later when we made it to Ottawa. Nonetheless, we re-energized with some old friends and midnight pho in Ottawa, and carried onwards, arriving at our cabin in the middle of the
darkness night.
Coaticook is the boonies. There's nothing here but trees, rolling hills, and farmland --not even phone reception, street lights, or wifi --essentially the qualifications for a horror film. However, it also meant a beautiful drive and luckily, great weather. So this trip was simple: we cooked, ate, drove around, and above all, made it into Parc de la Gorge de Coaticook.
nothing for miles.
Stopped by a farm...
How could I not purchase the popeye spinach?
